Barnet Iranians joined thousands of people at a peace rally in Paris to fight for “freedom”, The Times of London reported.
More than 100,000 people attended the ceremony at Villepinte Auditorium, near the French capital, which was fronted by Maryam Rajavi, the President of the Iranian Resistance.
Mrs. Rajavi’s movement aims to end the “repression” in the country and the leadership of President Hassan Rouhani, who they say is a “religious dictator”.
The Times Series were among media from all over the world who were invited to cover the event.

Hendon MP Matthew Offord and Finchley and Golders Green MP Mike Freer also voiced their support for the resistance during the day.
Mr. Offord said: “Barnet has a large number of Iranian residents, so I’m here not only to support my constituents but also Mrs. Rajavi and what she’s promoting for the residents of Iran.
“I certainly see many problems in the Middle East arising from Iran. I believe we need to address a peaceful regime change.”
Mr. Freer said: “It’s important to remember Barnet has the largest Iranian community in Europe – that’s why I’m here to support them.

“We must continue to press for a regime change against the current regime in Iran, which continues to pursue nuclear weapons.”
Laila Jazayeri, the director of Association of Anglo-Iranian Women in the UK and member of the Barnet Iranians, helped organize the event.
She said: “This is a beautiful, colorful and massive gathering of people supporting the Iranian resistance.
“We’ve got our MPs here. Everyone’s happy here. We are here to give our support to Mrs. Rajavi and we are saying to the world – we need a regime change in Iran.”

Mohamed Sulimani, 28, a website designer from Edgware, said: “It’s a fantastic international gathering. People have united together to be the voices of voiceless people.
“We hope Matthew Offord and Mike Freer can help get us the best for our people. We want a safer world, one without terrorism.”
