Following the historic verdict of the UK Appeal Court ordering the British government to remove PMOI from the proscribed organizations, a press conference was held by the Parliamentary group of Human Rights and Democracy in Iran in the US Congress.

Congressman Bob Filner, chairman of the House Veterans’ Affairs Committee and the cochairman of the Parliamentary group of Human Rights and Democracy in Iran on behalf of the US Congressmen Ted Poe, member of the Foreign Relation Committee (R), John Boseman, member of the Foreign Relations Committee and member of terrorism subcommittee, and congresswoman Mrs. Sheila Jackson-Lee, member of the Foreign Relation Committee and member of the Middle East subcommittee, said: I and Congressman Tom Toncredo, from the Parliamentary Group of Human Rights and Democracy in Iran are fully unanimous on these issues; here is Mrs. Samsami and we together answer your questions; the distinct demand that we want to propound with you and to our government is that the British government, after long and accurate investigations has come to the conclusion to order to remove the PMOI, a resistance group inside Iran, from the list of terrorist organizations; it is a measure that we want the US State Department do the same.
Bob Filner added: we cannot occupy Iran, nor can we continue the appeasement policy with the Iranian regime. The issue get away from the path of resistance forces and let them pursue their job for bringing about democracy in Iran
