The United Nations General Assembly Third Committee strongly condemned collective executions, brutal torture, repression and systematic violations of human rights in Iran.
The 59th resolution condemning the mullahs’ dictatorship by the UN was approved in the UNGA Third Committee.
The resolution, supported by 43 countries including Canada, the United States, Australia, Norway, European Union member states and various countries in the Balkans, was presented by the Canadian government strongly condemning human rights violations and describing the mullahs’ dictatorship as the worst violator of human rights in the world.
83 countries gave a positive vote in condemning Iran and the mullahs’ efforts to bribe various countries or deceive them in order to prevent the adoption of the resolution ended in a failure.
