The freedom loving Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance held a seminar in Toronto, Canada, to oppose the continuous violation of human rights and brutal executions in mullahs’ regime in which a number of Parliament representatives and academic and human rights personalities participated.
The Toronto seminar started with the speech of Mrs. Vaheedeh Khorramroudi, member of the Society of Democratic Iranians, who spoke of continuous violation of Human right in Iran.
The next speaker was Mrs. Monique August, vice president of the International Federation of Women against Fundamentalism and for Equality and the chairman of Language Department of Edmonton University. She spoke of different aspects of violation of human rights by the mullahs’ regime, particularly its misogynous nature in suppressing women.
A video film of the public executions in Iran was shown in the seminar.
Then the video message of Paul Forest, former Canadian Member of Parliament and one of the resolute supporters of the Iranian Resistance was shown.
In his message, Mr. Forest asked for immediate action by the international community against the fascist dictatorship of mullahs’ regime and said: “the democratic solution of Mrs. Maryam Rajavi for an Iran based on the people’s vote and sovereignty is a strategic solution.”
Mrs. Yasmin Ratanci, Parliament Member from the Liberal Party was the next speaker who emphasized on the women’s role, particularly Moslem women, against fundamentalism. She said the Iranian Resistance is a symbol for all Moslem women who struggle against fundamentalism.
At the end of seminar, several former Iranian political prisoners described the medieval tortures by the anti-human mullahs’ regime’s executioners imposed on them in the prisons which impressed the audience deeply against the Iranian regime.
