The Wall Street Journal, New York, 26 Sep 2012 – Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani has told thousands of protesters near the United Nations that the Obama administration has ’betrayed’ the people of Iran.
Giuliani ، who was a 2007 Republican presidential candidate، spoke at Dag Hammarskjold Plaza in Manhattan.
He also yelled: ’Tear down the murderous Mullahs! ’
Iranian leader Mahmoud Ahmadinejad addressed the U.N. General Assembly on Wednesday.
The protest also included an appearance by former U.S. House Speaker Newt Gingrich.
Demonstrators wore yellow vests with photos of people they say were massacred.
Native Syrians decried Iran’s support of their homeland’s regime.
