Al-Rafidain TV, June 26, 2010 – Thousands of opponents of the Iranian regime gathered in Taverny, north of Paris, to call for true democratic change in Iran. Tens of European MPs from all over Europe attended this gathering. This gathering became outstanding with the speeches of former US Ambassador to the UN John Bolton and former Spanish Prime Minister Jose Maria Aznar who expressed their solidarity. This assembly took place one year after the crackdown of public demonstrations inside Iran against rigging in the re-election of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad as the Iranian regime’s president.
