Mehdi Atiat, President of the Arabic Delegation in Defense of Ashraf said Ashraf residents do not fear propaganda attacks staged by the Iranian regime and its affiliates in Iraq with the goal to tarnish their image, al-Malaf Website reported.
He expressed his support for Ashraf residents as a lawyer and jurist.
“To the two regimes of Iran and Iraq I say: If they seek to continue committing crimes and aggressions and forcefully expel Ashraf residents, the residents will remain steadfast and firm on their rights to the very end,” Atiat said.
“We will refer those who seek aggressions against Ashraf residents to the judiciary,” he stressed.” Hence, the Arabic Delegation in Defense of Ashraf will file legal complaints against those who commit crimes and aggressions against Ashraf residents, as Nouri al-Maliki and a number of his officers have been summoned to the Spanish National Court.”
Mehdi Atiat emphasized all those who commit unrighteous measures against Ashraf residents will be prosecuted based on the international protection law and Article 42 of the Geneva Convention.
