The Wassat League called for treating Camp Ashraf based on international customs

Sawt al-Iraq Website, 27 Nov 2011 – The Wassat League, consisting of Iraqiya slate currents, called on the Iraqi government today to provide a positive response to international requests to refrain from expelling the People’s Mojahedin Organization from Iraq, while warning UN punishing measures if the government does not respond positively to these requests. This league presumed the government will not provide a positive respond to Europe’s pressures.
The government must listen to the opinions expressed here and treat Camp Ashraf based on international customs, Wassat League spokesman Mohammad Eghbal said in interview with al-Sumariya News. Eghbal warned of a new political crisis rising between Iraq and the European Union, and new pressures will be imposed on the Iraqi people if international requests are not responded to.
