Sheikh Jassim al-Kadhim, head of the Independent Association of the Nationalist and Democratic Tribes, in an interview with Iraq’s News Agency, said: “The disaster that is happening in Iraq, region and the world is the outcome of leaving the ground open for Iran’s velayat-e faqih regime, and the main solution is to support the PMOI as the greatest opposition force in Iran.

He elaborated the declaration by more than 300,000 Shiites in southern provinces of Iraq against Iranian regime’s meddling and added: ” When the PMOI were disarmed and their camps were bombed, since this organization is the balancing weight in the region, the strategic balance in the region was tilted, and such measures emboldened the Iranian regime to step forward and dominate Iraq.
