People in Tehran gathered at an old religious shrine to commemorate political prisoner Sattar Beheshti who was recently executed by Khamenei’s henchmen.
Reports from inside Iran indicate security forces were present in large numbers along with numerous intelligence agents preventing any kind of gathering. Family members were forced to hold a very simple ceremony in order to prevent other bystanders from noticing.
Beheshti’s family members were only able to gather in small numbers for the ceremony while the regime’s agents were preventing various family members from joining the ceremony and even resorting to attacking people to prevent any kind of gathering. Some were even prevented from crying and even the mother and sister of Sattar Beheshti were harassed by the agents.
