On their twelfth day of strike at Haft-Tappeh Sugar Cane Factory of Khuzestan, the workers gathered in front of the governorate building and asked for their unpaid salaries for three months. This protesting move supported by other people was severely controlled by the State Security Force (SSF).

On Friday, in the eleventh day of strike, 15 workers were arrested during a brutal raid by the SSF agents.
