Senior Iraqi Sunni scholar Shiekh Ahmed al-Kobaisi issued a statement expressing the solidarity of his country’s people with the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran as guests of the Iraqi people, the Jordan-based Addustoor daily reported on Monday.
“The PMOI have shared the sufferings of the Iraqi people,” he said, going on to condemn Maliki forces’ crime in Ashraf in murdering 52 PMOI members on September 1st.
