Political prisoner Gholamreza Khosravi facing imminent execution

Political prisoner Gholamreza Khosravi Savadjani is facing imminent execution after his request for a new trial was turned down by the mullahs’ supreme court.
Khosravi, 47, was sentenced to death on the mullah-fabricated charge of ‘moharebe’ (enmity against God) for providing material assistance to the PMOI.
Khosravi was arrested in the 1980s while he was only 16 for supporting the PMOI, enduring five years behind bars in the regime’s medieval dungeons in the city of Kazroon, central Iran. He was arrested again in 2007 and sentenced to six years in prison without being provided any due process.
In 2010, the regime’s henchmen transferred him to Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison and placed him on trial again for providing financial assistance to the PMOI. While only two years remained to his term, they sentenced him to death.
Khosravi, after spending more than 40 months in solitary confinement, is now held in Evin and on death row.
