Al Jazeera TV, 19 Oct 2013 – Supporters of opposition organization People’s Mojahedin of Iran are continuing their protests outside US embassies in various countries across the globe. These sit-ins are staged protesting what the participants say are crimes committed against members of this organization in Camp Liberty near Baghdad.
This organization is calling on the US to place pressure on the Iraqi government to free 7 of its abducted members. These individuals were taken hostage following a September 1 assault targeting Camp Ashraf northeast of Baghdad. The members of this organization accuse the Iraqi government of committing this massacre in this camp under orders from Iran.
