

Al Watan daily (Kuwait), 20 Oct 2013 – The opposition People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran called on the United Nations and United States to live up to their responsibilities regarding the protection of Iranian dissidents in camps Ashraf and Liberty, and the release of seven hostages, which the organization accuses the Iraqi government of abducting.
Organization spokesman Shahriar Kia in a press statement said the attack against Camp Ashraf that lead to the killing of 52 PMOI members and seven others being abducted – including six women – took place under orders from Iran.
He reiterated that silence in the face of this massacre carried out against Iranian dissidents means giving a green light for further massacres and aggressions against the residents of camps Ashraf and Liberty.
In this regard, Nosrat Nazari, the sisiter of Amir Nazar who was killed in the attack against Camp Ashraf, reiterated that the US and UN could have prevented this attack, which according to her Maliki’s government carried out under Iranian orders.
