PMOI presence in Iraq is legitimate and legal: Iraqi VP

Iraqi Vice President Dr. Tareq al-Hashemi participated in an interview with al-Sharqia TV stressing on the fact that the PMOI’s presence in Iraq is not only under a national framework, in fact this is an international issue and the international community must find a solution for this dilemma. He emphasized the PMOI’s presence in Iraq is legitimate and legal, saying they should not be harmed in any means at all. The PMOI are Iraq’s guests and they must be treated within this framework, he continued.
