Sid Ahmed Ghozali, former prime minister of Algiers, in his article in Asharq Al-Awsat
wrote: the only way to confront the Iranian regime’s threat is the “Third Option” proposed by Mrs. Maryam Rajavi.

Mr. Ghozali wrote: if there is a way for change in a country, why should a foreign war takes place? The option proposed by the president elect of Iranian resistance Mrs. Rajavi three years ago was widely welcomed by Iranian people and freedom and democracy lovers around the world. This is an option called ’the third option’ and it is what the U.S. efforts lack. It means if the United States is serious in confronting the threats to the world’s peace and security by Iranian regime, then it must be bound to the consequences of such a position. The first consequence that this position dictates is a change of policy toward the Iranian resistance.
I also call on the Europeans to leave the defeated policy of appeasement regime and follow the ECJ court verdict for revocation of terrorist designation of the PMOI, and open the way for a peaceful and humanitarian solution for the problem of both countries, Iran and Iraq.
