The sit- in by the families of Ashraf residents and supporters of Iranian Resistance in front of the UN headquarters entered its 80th day. Mrs. Zeenat Mir-Hashemi, member of central committee of Feda’iyan and member of NCRI, addressed the rally participants and said: “Your persistence in such cold and rainy weather for so many days is really commended and admired. We salute the residents of Ashraf from here.”

The message of Iranian teachers residing in UK in support of the Ashraf residents was read. Then the participants in the sit-in rallied in front of the office of Human Rights High Commissionaire.

Delegations consisting of some personalities and the families of the Ashraf residents visited the ICRC and the UNHCR and submitted their demands to relevant authorities regarding the protection of Ashraf based on Fourth Geneva Convention.
