March, 20, 2017 – Mr. Fatmir Mediu as the Long-standing friend of Iranian Resistance and advocate for the PMOI relocation to Albania, the former minister of Defense and current chairman of the Republican party of Albania, made a speech at the Grand Gathering of the Iranian Resistance and its supporters celebrating the Great Nowruz.

He said in part “with Maryam Rajavi, you built a free home here, but now we are in new day to go on and move and fight for new Iran for your country that is your home.
The former Albania Defense minister said: “This is a day of new life, this is a day of new challenge, and this is a day of reflection and responsibility to work for better future in this New Year. It is a day for all of us to be happy, but in the same time to keep in our mind that the fight for freedom and liberty has to be continued. It is a day for the people to understand that the good should prevail over evil.”
He was addressing thousands of members and supporters of the PMOI at the gathering when he said: “Madam Rajavi has been the great leader and inspiration not just for Iran, but also for many countries around the world. That is why we are here with you today. You have great friends. You brought Albanian friends as well.”
He then continued to say: “You have lots of Albanian that are your brothers and sisters, you have a home here but you have your country that needs you and it is worthy to fight for your country and freedom for Iranian people. This is not just a day for you but it is a day for Iranian people and their dream for free Iran and democracy.”
