Rouhani described anti-human executions “God commandment” and “law of the people”

In circumstances where the trend of group and arbitrary executions in Iran take on an added dimensions every day raising protests from organizations defending human rights on an international level, mullahs’ regime President Rouhani demagogically described these anti-human and anti-Islamic executions as “God’s commandments” or “laws of the parliament that belongs to the people”.
In fear of the rage and abhorrence of the Iranian people regarding these anti-human verdicts, Rouhani approved the executions and requested that at the time of execution the victims not be mistreated. He said, “when someone is condemned to death and he comes to the gallows according to the law, then we have no right to insult him as he is being taken to the gallows… in any case, the law has condemned him and he is punished and this has nothing to do with us. It is either the commandment of God or a law approved by the parliament that belongs to the people and we only execute it (Tasnim news agency, affiliated with the Qods Force – April 19).
Statements by this atrocious mullah is while the number of executions after he was elected to be President of this regime has surpassed 700 and according to the report by four UN Special Rapporteurs, the number of prisoners executed in just two and a half months since the beginning of 2014 has reached 176.
The Iranian Resistance calls on the UN Secretary-General and the Security Council to adopt immediate and binding measures against the escalating trend of group and arbitrary executions in Iran that is a disgrace to humanity in the 21st century. Silence and inaction in face of these anti-human measures emboldens this regime in its massacres and executions and is tantamount to collaboration.
