The Islamic Revolution has taken over three Arabic capitals, soon it will take over Sanaa; and after Yemen it is Saudi Arabia’s turn
Alireza Zakani, member of mullahs’ parliament and former Head of Student Basij who is a close associate of Khamenei in Mashhad, unveiled the role of the clerical regime in the recent developments in Yemen and regime’s plans to export fundamentalism and terrorism to the whole region under the title of “The system to unify Muslims by the Islamic Revolution”. Zakani added: “A phenomenon more colossal than Lebanon is unfolding; of Yemen’s 20 provinces, 14 have fallen into the hands of Yemen’s revolutionaries and 90% of Sanaa has also fallen… With this, they have changed all the equations. After the victory in Yemen, surely it is Saudi Arabia’s turn since these two countries share a 2000 kilometer border. Besides, today, two million organized armed men are in Yemen… Today, the Islamic Revolution has taken over three Arabic capitals and in a while it will occupy Sanaa as well and the system to unify Muslims will become operational.”
Zakani said: “The United States, Britain, France, Germany and Jordan, as well as many other countries, attempted to break Syria and the only country that stood up and disrupted this program was Iran.” Zakani went on to say that if Soleimani, Commander of the terrorist Quds Force, “had reached Baghdad a few hours later, Baghdad would have fallen. Similarly, absent Iran’s model and resoluteness, Syria would have fallen. After the victory of Bashar in the elections, he said that instead of congratulating me, go and congratulate the leadership in Iran.” (Tabnak state website – September 20)
Meanwhile, on September 21, Reuters quoted “senior officials” of the clerical regime as saying: “Iran is ready to work with the United States and its allies to stop Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS) militants, but would like to see more flexibility on Iran’s uranium enrichment program.”
These statements clearly demonstrate that the clerical regime intends to cultivate on the present crisis in the region to on the one hand make up for the heavy blow it has received due to the fall of Maliki and on the other hand to use as leverage the intensifying crisis and the spread of its influence in the region to extract concessions in the nuclear talks and keep the path to continue its project to produce the nuclear bomb open.
Mullahs’ are looking to use the crisis in the region to delay the signing of any agreement or to impose their demands in any final agreement. The Iranian Resistance warns that any agreement that falls short of the Security Council resolutions, a complete halt to enrichment, and acceptance of intrusive inspections will leave the path to obtaining the nuclear bomb open for this regime.
