On May 3, and on the verge of a visit by a board of inspectors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Behrouz Kamalvandi, spokesman of mullahs’ regime Atomic Energy Organization, once again rejected access of IAEA inspectors to Parchin site. He stated that “legally, they have no right to inspect Parchin since we are not implementing the additional protocol and even if we did, access needs to be managed” (State-run Fars News Agency, May 3).
He once again underlined that the regime has no intention to trim down its nuclear program — which has no objective but to obtain the nuclear weapon — and reiterated that “our nuclear facilities will not suspend their operations”.
During the past three years, the IAEA inspectors have frequently requested to visit a certain section of Parchin to study the unknown aspects of mullahs’ regime nuclear weapons program, but the clerical regime has always obstructed such a visit to Parchin. During this period, according to numerous reports, the mullahs’ regime has been busy carrying out major changes in these sections of Parchin to erase any trace and evidence of nuclear tests.
Statements by regime’s Atomic Energy Organization spokesman demonstrates that contrary to all the claims made in recent months, the clerical regime continues to cover up and deceive in continuation of its policy to obtain the nuclear weapon and has no intention whatsoever to be transparent in its nuclear program.
In the recent years, the clerical regime has concealed sections of its nuclear weapons project in conventional military sites and on the pretext that inspection of military sites is not within the scope of IAEA mandate, has prevented IAEA access to these sites.
The Iranian Resistance once again underscores that the implementation of the Additional Protocol by the mullahs’ regime and unhindered and unconditional access of IAEA to all of regime’s nuclear sites and specialists are essential and indispensible steps to ensure that mullahs do not obtain a nuclear bomb.
