Call on Australian parliament, political parties, and human rights defenders to obstruct this shameful measure
The Iranian Resistance strongly condemns the collaboration of the Australian government with the religious fascism ruling Iran against the Iranian asylum-seekers and urges the Australian government to end its ill-treatment and expulsion of asylum-seekers and to grant them asylum not allowing these refugees outside Iranian regime’s authority to nonetheless face injustice, discrimination, poverty, hunger and the risk of death.
The Iranian Resistance stresses that the Australian government is responsible for the security of Iranian refugees and asylum-seekers and urges Australia’s parliament, political parties, and refugee rights organizations to take urgent action to prevent the return of these asylum-seekers to Iran. It also calls on all Iranians resident in Australia to rush to the aid of their compatriots who have fled the mullahs’ hell of suppression, poverty and corruption.
Pressuring and returning asylum-seekers is happening despite the growing wave of oppression and cruel punishment of execution that everyday victimizes the Iranian people, especially the youth. Solely, during Rouhani’s presidency, 1800 prisoners have been executed. In such circumstances, returning of asylum-seekers to the mullahs’ hell, under whatever pretext, has no interpretation but collaboration with the mullahs in the suppression of the Iranian people.
According to Iranian regime’s media “Iran and Australia are about to ink an agreement based on which the immigrants who lack refugee status but refuse to voluntarily return to Iran, be [forcibly] returned to Iran”. According to this report, “in return for the immigrants that lack refugee status and are returned to Iran, the Australian government will grant various scholarships to Iranian students” (IRNA state news agency – June 19). These scholarships will basically serve Iranian regime’s revolutionary guards and hirelings.
Iranian regime’s foreign ministry brazenly called the fleeing of the fed up people from mullahs’ hell “caused by Iran-phobia-propaganda by the West that portray Iran black and abroad as heaven”.
