In an interview with Al Arab daily, published in London, Mohammad Seyyed Mohaddessin chairman of the National Council of Resistance’s Foreign Affairs Committee warned on consequences of the Iranian regime’s meddling in the region countries and asked for confrontation against it.
In the interview entitled ” The Iranian regime keeps dreaming of creating an empire “, Al-Arab wrote: Removal of the opposition of PMOI from the terrorist list by the British Parliament is regarded as a turning point for this organization’s activities; that is why a big celebration and gathering was held in the heart of Paris where state representatives and citizens from some other countries participated. The interview with Mr. Mohaddessin took place in the brink of this gathering.
In the interview, Mr. Mohaddessin asked the Arabic media to stand by the Iranian opposition and to reveal the real nature of the regime ruling Iran.
He added: The Iranian regime tries for one goal, and that is creation of an empire in the region from the pocket of others. This regime exports crisis and destruction to the region.
Mohaddessin said: The Iranian regime meddles in Iraq, Palestine, and Lebanon, and creates sedition in the region’s countries; this is the same policy we are witness to in Iraq; the Iranian regime has flared up the sedition among various sectors of the people; it has flared the crisis between Hamas and Fatah Organization. It also uses its levers in Lebanon to create insecurity and instability in that country.
Mr. Mohaddessin added: With an open face we welcome the relations with Arab and Islam world because we are part of Islam and we believe in it and its patience; we condemn misusing Islam for reaching to power.
