David Miliband , UK Foreign Secretary asserted that removal of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI) from the terrorist list has caused a great concern for the Iranian regime’s officials .

In response to a question of one of MPs regarding the reports from the British Embassy in Tehran, David Miliband said: Removal of the PMOI from the terrorist list is a matter of great concern to the Iranian officials. The Iranian regime’s officials have repeatedly propounded this issue with our embassy in Tehran and our officials in London. In response, we have explained that this appeal process is a judicial matter and not political.
