On Friday, July 25, the President-elect of the Iranian Resistance Mrs. Maryam Rajavi visited Vatican and took a pilgrimage to Saint Peter (great companion and helper to Jesus Christ) tomb that is the most important shrine of the Christians world over.

The Iranians residing in Italy and supporters of the Resistance welcomed Mrs. Rajavi in front of Vatican and cheered her with emotional slogans.

Inside Saint Peter Basilica at the Vatican, Mrs. Rajavi Prayed for freedom of the Iranian people from the religious despotism and for well being and security and victory of the PMOI members in Ashraf City. St. Peter was the Jesus apostle who was crucified over thirty years after Christ.

In her prayer in Saint Peter Basilica, on behalf of all Iranian Moslems and Christians Mrs. Rajavi prayed for Iran and the whole region to be free of the mullahs’ terrorism and evil. She also prayed to God to help the PMOI and the Iranian Resistance in their responsibilites

Mrs. Rajavi also visited various parts of St. Peter Cathedral including the most precious statues and art works of Bramante, Rafael and Michael Angelo.

She also visited the tomb of John Paul II who passed away in 2005.
