Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the Iranian Resistance expressed her deep condolences on the death of Danielle Mitterrand, the great friend and supporter of the Iranian Resistance and Ashraf residents.
Mrs. Rajavi described Danielle Mitterrand as resilient and a restless defender of human rights in France and around the world.
Mrs. Mitterrand’s notice and commitment to defend the refugees in Ashraf, who she supported up to her last days, will always remain in the hearts and minds of the Iranian people and in the history of resistance for democracy in Iran.
Her loss in this very harsh moment in history for the Iranian people and Resistance, and especially for Ashraf residents, is irrecoverable.
Mrs. Rajavi expressed her utmost condolences to Danielle Mitterrand’s children, grandchildren, the great Mitterrand family and all of the people of France who loved her very much. Mrs. Rajavi also sent her thoughts to all human rights activists around the world and the oppressed who Danielle Mitterrand supported through the France Libertés Foundation.
Mrs. Rajavi expressed her condolences also to the France Libertés personnel and especially it’s Secretary General Michel Joli.
