Dr. Walid Farhat, President of the Association of Egyptian Jurists in Defense of Ashraf Residents and a jurist member jurist of the Arab League, accused UN Special Representative of the Secretary-General in Iraq, Martin Kobler, of not being impartial, adding he has begun implementing the instructions of Iran’s ambassador in Iraq and Nouri Maliki.
“Kobler’s former advisor admitted to this and resigned due to Kobler’s approach regarding the Iraqi dossier and his refusal to report the truth to the UN Secretary-General. Truth such as clear violations taking place in this country against the Iraqi people and the People’s Mojahedin, and this has raised distrust among the international community regarding the United Nations,” he added.
