In a telephone interview with INTV, responding a question regarding the significance of verdict of European Court of Justice in removing the PMOI from the EU terrorist list, Lord Waddington, the former British Interior Minister, said: “The Court’s decision is of great importance; I believe it would be very difficult for the EU to ignore it. I am sure during the Czech presidency on the EU, we shall witness lifting proscription from the PMOI; every time that a new decision is adopted by the court, it beocm harder for the EU to publish a new list.
There are many reasons to believe that there is no new document for the EU to keep the PMOI in the list. We are winning these battles one after the other, but the final victory still remains to be gained .
