Former leader of Labor Party and member of House of Lords Lord Tony Clark sought clearance of PMOI from the terrorist list and recommended to end policy of appeasement toward clerical regime by Premier Gordon Brown in a meeting in Bournemouth south of England.
Simultaneous with annual conference of the Labor party, a meeting was held by the office of the NCRI in England titled as “Iran, the state of terror. What should be done?” in Bournemouth.
In the meeting, the chairmen of a number of societies of Labor Party, MP assistances, Party members, human rights activists and women rights activists attended.
Lord Clark in his speech appreciated the activities of PMOI in revealing breach of Human rights and crimes committed by the clerical regime in Iran. Referring to crimes committed against the Iranian people he added: the appeasement policy by our country and west has only helped Iranian regime to pursue its nuclear program. It was the Iranian resistance and PMOI who exposed the clandestine nuclear sites; the terror tag on the PMOI was part of this appeasement policy. Although we have asked the government time and again to give us evidences for that, they haven’t provided us even a single evidence.
