Agence France Presse cited an Iraqi security official and United Nations spokesman saying a mortar attack Saturday morning in an Iranian dissidents’ residential camp near Baghdad resulted in a number of residents being killed. The UN spokesman in Iraq said the mortars left a number of the residents killed and many others wounded.
Al Jazeera TV reported opposition PMOI say their members in Camp Liberty near Baghdad airport were the targets of an attack leaving many killed and wounded.
Al Arabiya TV reported many were killed and wounded in the missile attack on a PMOI camp near Baghdad.
Al Babeliya TV said Camp Liberty came under a missile attack Saturday morning leaving many killed and wounded. Camp Liberty residents called on the United Nations to return them to Ashraf to have security against such attacks.
