Leader of Egypt’s Ahrar Party called for an end to Ashraf siege

According to Iraq For All Website the Egyptian Ahrar Party leader Professor Helmi Salem strongly condemned last year’s July 28 and 29 attacks of Nouri Maliki’s forces against Ashraf residents and the murder of 11 Ashraf residents.
“Today marks the first anniversary of the massacre that elements of the Iranian regime carried out against the ‘protected’ residents of Ashraf”, Salem said in an interview with the Iraqi News Agency. “This shameful act is considered as enmity against democracy and freedom and portrays dictatorship and tyranny”.
The leader of Egypt’s Ahrar Party also called for the abolishment of the inhumane siege on Ashraf and the recognition of the residents’ rights.
