Mrs. Elizabetta Zamparutti, member of Italian parliament from Radical party and Mr. Sergio D’Elia, chairman of the human rights organization of “Hands off Cain” released a statement titled” Victory of Law over Politics”, and declared that delisting PMOI is a victory of law in Europe and a defeat for the mullahs’ regime.

The statement partly reads: After six years of political, legal, and parliamentary battle, we are pleased to be able to convince the European Council to concede to law and logic versus politics. The time has come now that the international community, by understanding this issue, prevents threats against international peace and security that are represented by Ahmadinejad, and hinders daily harassments and threats against the Iranian people by that regime.”
