Fatah News Agency, Palestine, January 16, 2013 – Intensifying reprimands and criticisms of Iranian regime by international and regional bodies regarding meddling in affairs of countries in the region, or constant violation of Human Rights, or instigations and harassment of Camp Liberty residents in Iraq and other actions which result in instability and insecurity in the region and the world, indicates that this regime cannot adapt itself to the world and all efforts made by international community for its reconstruction has failed…
…Time has proved that the current world policy which is waiting for downfall of this regime by developments or domestic or regional shake ups is a completely failed policy and will bear no fruit but to serve the Iranian clerics. Now, it is time for the international community to set an active and effective policy against this regime. Following these new policies without turning to National Council of Resistance of Iran which represents the most powerful and important Iranian opposition will certainly not be profitable, because this regime has vast experience in using schisms of international policy against it and circumventing these policies. It is better that the international community resorts to a more effective policy which would influence Iran. This policy would be based on supporting Iranian people and resistance and not relying on this bloodthirsty, suppressive regime.
National Council of Resistance of Iran is the most salient political force of the opposition groups and has called for overthrow of this regime since long ago. NCRI has implemented all its resources for this goal and has constantly emphasized that there are no paths to peace, security and stability in Iran, the region and the world without overthrow of this regime. NCRI has reiterated that downfall of this regime is only possible by recognizing Iranian resistance as the legitimate representative of Iranian people and repealing Iranian regime by the international community. The world community is convinced that survival of the regime is a danger and threatens the world’s security and stability. The best guarantee for security and stability specifically in the Middle East and the whole world in general, is overthrow of this regime. And there is no doubt that the shortest and easiest way to get rid of this regime is recognition of NCRI and repeal of the mullahs. Only this policy would guarantee a useful method for overthrowing this regime, and not useless waiting for its downfall.
