Iraqiya Coalition Spokeswoman Meysoun Al-Damalouji said this coalition had called on the Iraqi government and UN envoy in Iraq Martin Kobler to take a humanitarian approach towards Ashraf and Liberty residents until their transfer to other countries.
Al-Damalouji stressed these residents are disarmed from Allawi’s government yet unfortunately they were treated based on the interests of a neighboring country and this is against Iraq’s interests and moral values.
