
April 23 is the anniversary of the martyrdom of Dr. Kazem Rajavi, the brother of the leader of the Iranian resistance Mr. Massoud Rajavi, who was assassinated on April 23, 1990 in Geneva by the terrorists of the mullahs’ regime ruling Iran.
Dr. Kazem Rajavi is known as the Great Martyr of Human Rights in Iran who dedicated his life for the freedom of his people and his homeland.
On the occasion of 17th anniversary of the martyrdom of Dr. Rajavi, a ceremony was held in Karbala where he is buried.
A prominent Sheikh from Iraqi southern provinces said: Today we have gathered to commemorate a man who dedicated his whole life to fight against tyranny and to defend human rights, and finally lost his life for this cause and was assassinated by the terrorists of Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence in Geneva. As he had said “We write the history of human rights by our lives. We, the sheikhs and inhabitants of Iraq’s southern provinces have gathered here on behalf of the PMOI, who are not able to gather here due to political conditions. Commemorating this great martyr, we dedicate our best salutes to the PMOI in the city of Ashraf.
