The UK Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom in both the House of Lords and Commons held a symposium on threats of Iran polices and the correction of Iranian regime’s policies on dissidents. A number UK House of Lords and Commons members, various former US national security officials and members of the opposition organization PMOI attended this symposium.
“Iran’s danger and real threat is in dire need of change similar to those achieved in other regional countries,” UK Parliament member Lord Corbett said to al-Sharqia TV. “The Iranian regime must not be kept immune from change because this regime has shown how much of a threat it is to its neighbors by supporting terrorism, providing financial and arms support for IED attacks in Iraq that led to a number of British soldiers dying by Iranian regime-made weapons in Iraq.”
“The Iranian people say they are hoping to take back their country,” said NCRI Representative in the UK Ms. Dowlat Norouzi. “And we are seeing winds of change gaining serious momentum these days in the Middle East, and this is similar to the fire beneath the ashes simmering in the souls of the Iranian people… In a manner that last week Iranian cities witnessed many demonstrations. The Iranian regime will soon be facing very difficult circumstances.”
