He added that “all of the existing property and equipment at Camp Ashraf are the property of them and they disposed of the only one who has the right to behave in coordination with the United Nations to move outside Iraq or sold at auction this issue back to them alone and cannot be any point whatever the confiscated .
The Alwani, “Any attempt to confiscate their money or their equipment is unacceptable and there must be a firm stand against this because the money of their own and cannot be forfeited under any circumstances there is no legal argument or legal justification authorizing this.
He explained, “These acts are a kinds of pressure exerted by Iran against them through their relationship with some of the politicians currently based in Government The residents of Camp Ashraf are one of those opposition to the regime in Iran and thus take advantage of Iran’s influence in Iraq through those actions that is the truth and actually located or one can deny to weaken the People’s Mojahedin Organization because they have a significant impact on the political scene in the future.
He stressed “the United Nations should act impartially and that they fulfill their basic protection, but until now we see that there are shortcomings and obvious to the residents of Camp Liberty by the United Nations. There are those who say that there was complicity by it with the government because they do not they fulfill their core and found for it.
He concluded by saying: “the residents of Ashraf and Liberty are asylum seekers according to official assurances and declared by the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and are entitled to enjoy the rights of asylum must be Camp Liberty under the protection and full control by the United Nations and not camp is temporary, as invoked by the Iraqi government to impose conditions inhumane and must put an end to this situation as quickly as possible. “
