Iraqi MP Talal al-Zobai from the Iraqiya Coalition expressed his opposition to Ashraf residents’ transfer to Liberty.
“This relocation must stop due to the fact that various human rights violations have taken place,” al-Zobai announced in a statement wired by the NINA news agency. “Pressures are being imposed by the Iranian regime on the Iraqi government to expel members of People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran from Iraq, because this organization exposes the Iranian regime’s goals to destroy the Iraqi society’s infrastructure, the killing of Iraqi people and creating an army of widows and orphans among Iraq’s population.”
