The Supporters of Change Association called on the Maliki government to postpone the deadline set to close Camp Ashraf until the UN can resolve the residents’ refugee issue.
According to a report by the al-Rafidain TV network, this association emphasized that the UN must have a fundamental role in this critical case and through its presence and direct monitoring prevent the violation of Ashraf residents’ rights.
In other news the al-Babeliya TV channel reported that, Iraqi political figures urged the Nouri al-Maliki government to revoke the deadline to expel the residents of Ashraf.
