Saturday, December 27, 2008

On Christmas Eve, freedom-loving Iranians and supporters of the Iranian Resistance participated in the Jesus Birth praying ceremonies of Notre-Dam de Paris Church and St. Mary Madeleine Church along with French citizens. While supporting Ashraf residents, they prayed for victory of the Iranian people over the brutal religious dictatorship ruling Iran.

Carrying lanterns and banners in support of Ashraf, the Iranian Resistance supporters gathered outside of the Madeleine Church and distributed leaflets and explained the current situation in Iran and the position of Iranian Resistance and the City of Ashraf and the need for worldwide support of rights and protection of Ashraf residents.

In his talk with the Iranian and mothers of martyrs and Ashraf residents’ families, the church’s senior priest said that he would pray in solidarity with the Iranian Resistance and for its victory on Christmas Day Prayer.

In other European countries, US, Canada and Australia, as well as other churches in Paris and France, Iranians and Resistance supporters also participated in Christ birth respect ceremonies and prayed for victory of the Iranian people and Resistance to get rid of the evil religious fascism ruling Iran.
