The families and relatives of Ashraf residents held their 88th day of sit-in in the US with presence of the Iranian Resistance supporters from Virginia, California, Tennessee, Texas, Chicago, Kansas and Canada in front of the White House at sub-zero temperature with hail to the brave students who demonstrated against the clerical regime and outcried the voice of freedom and resistance in Iran.

After singing the anthem ” O, Iran”, in a message “the Committee of Ashraf Residents’ Families and Relatives in the US” announced: During last 88 days the Iranian communities from different states who represent various sectors of the Iranian society, along with their representatives in the US Congress and personalities of different religions supported the sit-ins outside of the UN headquarters and in front of the White House. They unanimously believe that the continuation of Ashraf residents’ protection as “protected persons under the Fourth Geneva Convention is the responsibility of the US forces.”

At the end of sit-in some delegations from different US states referred to the Congress to meet their state representatives in Congress and Senate regarding the sit-in goals and Ashraf protection.
