In protest to Khamenei’s remarks for expulsion of Ashraf residents from Iraq, the Iranians staged a demonstration outside German Foreign Ministry in Berlin.
The demonstrators announced their support of Ashraf residents’ persistence and expressed solidarity with students and workers and other sectors of the Iranian society. The families of Ashraf residents residing in Germany participated in the demonstration and asked for condemnation of Khamenei’s interfering remarks.

Christian Zimmerman, human rights activist and a member of the German Solidarity Committee for Free Iran, said in his speech: ” After removing the PMOI from the EU terrorist list, you gained a great success; and this was a step in the right policy. Now, the situation of Ashraf must be viewed as a priority; all effective measures should be taken to prevent Tehran’s regime to carry out its threats against Ashraf.”
