Iranians’ demonstration in Washington against Ashraf siege, day 128

In continuance of Iranians’ protest against Ashraf siege and illegal intrusion of Iraqi police into Ashraf, families of Ashraf residents as well as supporters of the Iranian Resistance in the United States staged demonstrations in front of the Iraqi embassy in Washington and also outside the White House and asked for annulment of all illegal restrictions against Ashraf and implementation of the European Parliament resolution by the Iraqi government.

In demonstration of Iranians in front of the Iraqi embassy in US that was held under heavy rain, by chanting slogans and carrying placards, the demonstrators expressed their disgust of the limitations dictated by the clerical regime of Iran against Ashraf and the Iraqi government’s yielding to these pressures. while opposing the dealings with the clerical regime, they asked the Iraqi government to end police pressures and to acknowledge the status of Ashraf residents as protected persons under Fourth Geneva Convention.

The Iranians continued their demonstration in support of Ashraf for 128th day outside the White House for guaranteeing Ashraf residents’ rights.

The demonstrators asked President Obama administration to ensure the protection and rights of the Ashraf residents by taking into consideration all conventions and international law.
