The sit-in of Ashraf residents’ families in the US passed its 83rd day with the presence of Iranian Resistance supporters from different states of the United States outside of the White House.
In his speech addressing the sit-in participants, Champion Moslem Eskandar Filabi, former Iranian wrestling champion and chairman of the Sport’s commission of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), said: ” The champion is someone who stands against cruelty, and you, supporters of Ashraf, have stood against the clerical regime, in cold and heat, you have left your jobs and life to reach the voice of the oppressed Iranian people and the champion Ashraf City to the world.”
Then the solidarity messages of the Iranian community residing in Virginia and the Iranian community residing in Chicago were read out. In both messages, referring to the legal rights of the Ashraf residents, it is emphasized that the Camp Ashraf protection is the responsibility of US forces and so long as the US forces are present in Iraq the Ashraf residents must be under their protection.
