
In the twelfth day of Geneva sit-in which coincided with September 5, anniversary of foundation of the People’s Mohahedin Organization of Iran (PMOI), the Iranians and participant families of Ashraf residents, persisted on their commitment for protection of Ashraf residents.
In his speech, Cary Pollard , former member of British House of Commons: The PMOI forces are under protection of Geneva 4th Convention and it is quite concerning and illegal that the US forces transfer the Ashraf protection to the government of Iraq; this is a violation of laws and will lead to massacre of the PMOI members.
Henrick Yarl, former Swedish MP and a member of Committee of Friends of Free Iran in Sweden, said in his short speech: Today, I and my colleague met with the US delegation in Geneva UN headquarter and also with Swedish delegation at UN and discussed about the necessity of continuance o Ashraf protection and we keep following this issue up until everything go forward under international law.

Mohsen Azudanlou, member of the National Council of Resistance of Iran.
During sit-in, a delegation of participating political personalities and delegations of the participant families of Ashraf residents referred to the UN High Commissionaire for Refugees, bureau of UN High Commissionaire for Human Rights , and the US delegation in UN in Geneva and informed them the demands of sit-in.
