On June 10, 2008, in a press and Radio TV conference held by the bureau of representative of NCRI at the British Parliament with the presence of Lord Corbett, chairman of the British Parliamentary Committee for Iran Freedom and Lord Waddington, the former British Interior Minister, details of productions and extensive flow of explosively formed penetrators( EFPs) by the Iranian regime were disclosed.

In this press conference, Hossein Abedini, member of NCRI Foreign Relations Committee, said: The obtained information by the PMOI network in Iran indicates that more than 80 percent of arms and munitions used in Iraq are prepared and distributed by the terrorist Qods Force and the IRGC.

He added: Recently the Qods Force has ordered more EFPs with higher explosive power to be produced by the Organization of Defense Industries of the clerical regime, and the activities of the regime’s Defense Industries have considerably risen regarding EFPs, such that besides the Sattari Factory in Tehran’s Lavizan, production and examination of more powerful EFPs is carried out at Parchin Industries at southern Tehran, and more deadly EFPs are made in Parchin.

Regarding networks that send arms to Iraq, Abedini said: Presently, the Qods Force is using groups affiliated to the IRGC and also local smugglers to take consignments of bombs, rockets and other armaments to Iraq through the border regions in Khuzestan, Ilam, Kermanshah and Kurdistan. So far the PMOI has managed to gain and reveal the information of 51 networks involved in smuggling and distributing weapons and munitions to Iraq.
