In a meeting with Italian premier Romano Prodi, Reza Olia, a prominent Iranian sculptor and an NCRI member, requested that the European Council condemns the collective executions of the youth by the religious fascism ruling Iran.

In this meeting, Reza Olia explained how the ruling mullahs employ the brutal violation of human rights in Iran, especially by the escalated number of public execution of the youth, and underlined the need for a firm stance by the Europe against the tragedy of executions in Iran. He asked the Italian Prime Minister to propound this shocking disaster in the coming session of the European Council.

It is worth mentioning that recently, the Italian government officially condemned the new wave of executions in Iran.
