A number of other student associations and entities, bazaar merchants, employees and engineers have announced their solidarity with prisoners in ward 350 of Tehran’s notorious Evin Prison. Students of Karaj Open University, Khorram Abad Open University, a group of Tehran University graduates, a number of Tabriz University students, students of east Tehran girl high schools, a group of youths in Lorestan Province, freedom loving youths in Kurdistan, a group of Tehran Bazaar merchants-supporters of the People’s Mojahedin Organization of Iran, the families of PMOI members imprisoned in Camp Liberty in Iran’s Golestan and Mazandaran provinces, Sunni political prisoners in Gohardasht Prison in Karaj – west of Tehran, a group of employees and food industries experts in Sanandaj, a group of Arak engineers, research scientists in Jalfa and a group of engineers of heat-sensitive devices in Tehran, including organizations and associations that have issued separate statements condemning the vicious raid against prisoners of Evin’s ward 350 and supported the inmates’ demands.
