The latest edition of the Afrique Asie monthly magazine, under the title of “Iraq and Iran: Ashraf under invasion” wrote: “Since four months ago, with the cooperation of the Iraqi forces, agents of the Iranian Ministry of Intelligence and Security have launched a psychological warfare against the residents at the front gates of Camp Ashraf, home to the Iranian Resistance. Members of the Iranian Resistance, who reside in the camp, face instigations and threats on a daily basis. These acts are blatant violations of international conventions, in particular the Fourth Geneva Convention. These acts have inflamed public opinion in Iraq and throughout the international community.”
The AfriqueAsie Magazine added: “These repressive measurements against Ashraf are taking place at a time while the Iranian regime has simultaneously heightened arrests of family members of Ashraf residents and also increased the accounts of torture and death sentences. The Iranian community outside of Iran and defenders of Ashraf, including MPs from across the world, has mobilized to defend the stronghold of freedom and resistance.”
